Bringing together his latin heritage with hints of 90s music such as Hip Hop and Latin Rap. Some of his influences are Manu Chao, Stromae, Orishas and Hector Lavoe.

Awkito is a world traveler with experience across many sides of the music industry. From owning and running a recording studio in Sydney, Australia, to touring as a bassist for a reggae act; from songwriting for a jazz band to producing reggae music for hundreds of artists through BeatStars. His journey has taken him through different countries, genres, and roles, shaping Awkito into an artist with a broad musical perspective and a deep love for creating music.
